Checklist: Is Your Agent Genuine?
Before giving any money or documents to an agent, run through this checklist.
Verify official corporate registration (MCA) and ensure payments are made only into verified company bank accounts.
Never pay any fee without receiving an official stamped receipt on company letterhead.
Never accept a job offer that is only verbal — insist on a signed employment contract.
Verify the visa is a genuine work visa, not a visit or tourist visa.
Never send your passport by courier to an agent you have not met in person.
No legitimate agency will promise a guaranteed visa or a specific salary before the employer interview.
Do not trust job offers received on WhatsApp from unknown numbers without verifying the agency.
